A few years back I spent a month camping at an organic farm in Wales. I got involved in the potato harvesting one day and getting down from the machine said to the farmer 'that was great, I'll have to tell my friends back in London.' It wasn't meant to sound as patronising as it did - I have a genuine, if naive, envy of farmers and their lifestyle, and an urge to share this envy with them. I guess the thoughts of early starts and a 365, poorly paid, lifestyle are just less salient when it's a novelty. Anyway, saw
this and was pleased to see that the envy isn't wholly misplaced.
there's not much in it though is there? 365 of early starts for 1 extra point - arguably not worth it.
ReplyDeleteI see that professional scores higher than "business owner" and that "business owner" scores no higher than "manager" - classic enoughsim.
I agree - a bit of a classic misuse of data fuelled by the headline of an e-mail: 'farmers top emotional health scores.' A lie in it is, then. Promise something of a bit more depth in the near future.
